Venafi Engineer

Tasks

• Administer and support the Venafi Trust Protection Platform / Venafi TLS Protect.
• Manage the complete TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle, including discovery, enrollment, renewal, and revocation.
• Configure Venafi policies, zones, workflows, and permissions.
• Integrate Venafi with Active Directory, Certificate Authorities, load balancers, web servers, and enterprise applications.
• Automate certificate provisioning and renewal using APIs and scripting.
• Troubleshoot certificate, TLS/SSL, and Venafi integration issues.
• Support enterprise security, compliance, and machine identity management initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: 8 Years
• Hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform / Venafi TLS Protect.
• Strong knowledge of PKI, TLS/SSL, digital certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Experience with Microsoft AD CS or other enterprise Certificate Authorities.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, IIS, Apache, and NGINX.
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Good to Have: Venafi APIs and certificate automation; AWS/Azure cloud certificates and machine identities; F5 load balancers; Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform.
