Job description

CARE Veterinary Services is seeking a compassionate, motivated rehabilitation technician, LVT/RVT/CVT, or experienced veterinary assistant to join our growing rehabilitation and pain management team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys patient care, teamwork, learning, and helping improve quality of life for pets recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or navigating neurologic and mobility challenges.
Previous rehabilitation experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong veterinary background and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities
Assisting with rehabilitation treatments and therapeutic exercisesRunning land and underwater treadmill sessionsSupporting modalities such as laser therapy, shockwave, and mobility treatmentsMonitoring patient comfort, safety, and progressEducating clients on home exercises and long-term care plansMaintaining accurate medical records and treatment notesWorking closely with doctors and technicians to provide individualized patient care

Ideal Candidates Will Have
Strong animal handling and patient care skillsExcellent communication and teamworkA positive, dependable attitudeComfort working in an active, hands-on environmentInterest in rehabilitation, pain management, sports medicine, or neurology
Bonus Qualifications
Previous rehabilitation experienceLVT/RVT/CVT credentialsFear Free handling knowledgeInterest in continuing education and specialty medicine
