Job Description:

Creative Development Studios is seeking a dedicated Videography Instructor located in Baltimore, MD, with experience working with inner-city urban youth. This part-time, in-person teaching role involves instructing students from kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2026-2027 school year.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday, with session times varying between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Each class session lasts one hour. Multiple contracts and teaching sites may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement videography classes and activities for youth.
• Incorporate youth development principles into curriculum and assignments.
• Guide students and maintain discipline to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Teach videography techniques including filmmaking, music videos, and public service announcements (PSAs).
• Maintain and care for supplies and equipment.
• Perform video editing independently.
• Provide your own video production equipment if possible (1-2 medium size cameras or HD video phones, studio lights, microphone). Supplemental equipment may be provided if needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be located in Baltimore, MD.
• Experience working with inner-city urban youth.
• Passion for teaching children and youth development.
• Excellent classroom management and teaching experience.
• High energy, flexibility, and performance-oriented mindset.
• Availability Monday through Thursday afternoons (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) and summer mornings/afternoons.
• Reliable transportation is required.
