International Humanity Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator for our New Member Team in Rancho Mirage, California. This volunteer role is essential for creating a welcoming and supportive environment that helps new members integrate smoothly into our community. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping member experiences and ensuring they feel valued and engaged. Key Responsibilities Welcome and orient new members by providing essential information and resources. Develop and maintain strong communication channels with volunteers and new members. Organize and facilitate onboarding events and training sessions for new members. Manage volunteer schedules to ensure adequate coverage during events and meetings. Collect and analyze feedback from new members to improve the onboarding process continuously. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute community outreach initiatives. Track and report volunteer participation and engagement metrics regularly. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2-year Diploma or equivalent education. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and individuals. Experience in volunteering or community service is preferred. Basic proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus. Prior coordination or administrative experience is beneficial. This volunteer role operates within a close-knit team environment where collaboration and open communication are key. You will work alongside dedicated volunteers and staff who share a common goal of supporting newcomers to our community. Reporting directly to the Volunteer Team Leader, you will ensure all initiatives align with the organization's mission and values.
