Lyson Ziyomo is hiring a full-time Waterproofing and Painting Specialist in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. Earn ZAR 20,000 per month while helping deliver high-quality waterproofing and painting solutions for construction projects. This is an on-site role reporting to the Senior Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess surfaces and identify waterproofing and painting requirements.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to support proper material adhesion.
- Apply waterproofing and paint products in line with manufacturer instructions and safety requirements.
- Inspect completed work to confirm it meets quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Keep work areas organized and monitor material inventory.
- Report progress and project challenges to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in waterproofing and painting.
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing techniques and products.
- Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.
