Salvador Guerrero is seeking a strategic Accounting Manager to lead a critical 6-month contract project for a Fortune 500 Global Fintech Leader based in Draper, UT. This role demands a leader who thrives in high-visibility environments, masters complex financial reporting, and excels in operational efficiency. 🛡️ The Role: As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee core accounting operations, managing the full month-end, quarterly, and year-end close cycles. You will ensure precision in financial reporting, maintain rigorous SOX compliance, and optimize workflows between cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. 🛡️ Must-Haves (Minimum Requirements): Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a Big 4 firm and/or a publicly traded company . Leadership: 3+ years managing accounting teams and overseeing close activities. Technical Mastery: Strong command of US GAAP and SOX compliance/Internal Controls . Analytical Precision: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform and validate manual calculations independently. Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available). 🛡️ Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications): CPA License: Highly preferred. Systems: Proficiency in NetSuite and BlackLine . Industry Experience: Prior experience in fintech or financial services is a plus.
