The RoleAs an AI Engineer, you'll own the full lifecycle of AI-powered backend systems from architecture through to production. You'll work at the intersection of LLM integration, data orchestration, and backend infrastructure, partnering directly with product and engineering to ship features that are fast, reliable, and genuinely useful to end users.
This isn't a role where you prompt-engineer your way through the day. You'll be designing the systems that make AI capabilities production-ready handling latency, scale, failure modes, and real-world edge cases.
What You'll Be DoingDesigning and building backend services that connect LLMs to product surfaces and data sourcesMaking decisions about reliability, responsiveness, and scalability under real trafficCollaborating closely with product and engineering to translate user needs into AI-driven featuresOwning the quality and performance of systems end-to-end
What We're Looking For3+ years building AI-driven or ML-adjacent product features in productionStrong hands-on experience with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source, or a mix)Solid Python skills and experience building robust backend systemsA product-minded engineering approach you think about UX, latency, and real-world constraints, not just model outputs
Bonus PointsExperience building agentic systems (tools, planning, memory)Familiarity with vector databases and embedding-based retrievalExposure to fine-tuning or model customization techniquesExperience with streaming or real-time AI systemsUnderstanding of LLM evaluation methods
