We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real business problems for both internal and client-facing initiatives.
About the Role
As an AI Engineer at ZetaMinusOne, you will work across data, software, and machine learning to develop AI-powered applications and solutions. You will be responsible for building, testing, and improving models and intelligent workflows that can automate tasks, generate insights, and enhance decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and innovation, and who is excited about applying AI in practical, scalable ways.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for internal and client-facing projectsDevelop and optimize models for tasks such as prediction, classification, recommendation, automation, or generative AI use casesWork with structured and unstructured data to prepare datasets for model training and evaluationBuild and maintain pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI modelsCollaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-driven solutionsEvaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalabilityIntegrate AI capabilities into applications, platforms, and business workflowsStay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practicesQualificationsExperience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, data science, or a related roleStrong proficiency in Python and SQLExperience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similarExperience building and deploying machine learning models in production environmentsUnderstanding of model evaluation, feature engineering, experimentation, and performance optimizationFamiliarity with APIs, backend systems, and software development best practicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to explain technical concepts and model outputs to both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or vector databasesFamiliarity with MLOps tools and practices such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, or CI/CDExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedshiftKnowledge of deployment frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similarConsulting experience or experience supporting multiple clients/projectsFamiliarity with AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practicesWhy Join ZetaMinusOne?Hybrid work environmentHealth InsuranceUnlimited PTOCertification supportMentorship and continuous learningHands-on experience with new technologiesGrowth opportunitiesInclusive, collaborative cultureOpportunity to work on cutting-edge projects
