Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough visual inspections of solder joints and electronic components to detect defects such as cracks, cold joints, or bridging, ensuring compliance with IPC standards. Document inspection results accurately and promptly report quality issues to production and engineering teams to facilitate swift corrective actions. Perform functionality tests on assemblies to verify operational compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements. Collaborate closely with engineers and production staff to identify root causes of defects and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and yield. Adhere to industry best practices and company protocols for soldering inspection and quality control, maintaining consistent inspection standards. Assist in developing and updating quality assurance procedures and inspection checklists to align with evolving industry standards and customer expectations. Participate actively in team meetings to review inspection data, discuss quality trends, and suggest actionable improvements to manufacturing processes. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or equivalent education. Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills essential for identifying soldering defects. Experience in electronics manufacturing or quality assurance roles preferred. Proficiency with basic hand tools and inspection equipment such as magnifiers and microscopes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate across departments. Preferred: Familiarity with IPC standards or certification in soldering inspection (e.g., IPC-A-610) is a significant advantage.
