The work environment promotes inclusion, respect, and a supportive atmosphere for both clients and staff.Role Description The CCC-SLP role at Happy Play Therapy is an on-site position based in Davie, FL. The clinician will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients in a clinic setting. Day-to-day tasks include administering standardized and informal assessments, documenting progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and communicating treatment goals and outcomes to caregivers and interdisciplinary team members. The CCC-SLP will collaborate with other therapists/professionals and provide guidance to families on home practice and strategies that support communication and feeding needs. The role may also involve contributing to program development, participating in continuing education, and upholding ethical and regulatory standards.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in speech assessment and intervention.Experience working with Communication Disorders, including both receptive and expressive communication needs.Knowledge and clinical skills in addressing Language Disorders across developmental stages.Competence in evaluating and treating pediatric feeding/oral motor concerns.Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP in Florida.Level 2 Background Screening.Strong interpersonal and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary pediatric environment.Commitment to inclusive, family-centered care and ongoing professional development.
