Customer Service Air Export & Import

About the role

Agencia de Reclutamiento Elemento-R is seeking a candidate with previous experience at freight forwarder companies and professional-level English (C1). The role handles customer shipping instructions and guidelines for export and import transactions, with a primary focus on airfreight export operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with carriers, airlines, and origin and destination agents.
• Prepare, issue, and process export airway bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and operational requirements.
• Transmit export shipment information and airway bills to SAT as required.
• Coordinate the EUR.1 movement certificate and other certificates and documentation required for import operations.
• Download and review CASS information and documentation.
• Review and follow customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with TSA requirements and ACE Quality Assurance Standards.
• Coordinate special shipments, including perishables such as medicines and samples, when required.
• Communicate with internal teams, carriers, agents, and customers throughout the shipment process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in airfreight, logistics, or freight forwarding; experience in airfreight export is strongly preferred.
• Experience in airfreight import is desirable, with greater experience and exposure to airfreight export operations required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Advanced English speaking ability is required.
