Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems continuously for security breaches and suspicious activities, ensuring rapid detection and response. Investigate , document, and respond promptly to security incidents to minimize impact and prevent recurrence. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses. Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, and endpoint protection to strengthen defenses. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure systems and infrastructure tailored to business needs. Provide security awareness training to employees, fostering a culture of security vigilance across the organization. Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry trends to proactively enhance security posture. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and cloud security principles. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners. Knowledge of encryption methods, authentication protocols, and access control mechanisms. Familiarity with incident response processes and digital forensics techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks effectively. Strong communication and documentation skills to clearly report findings and collaborate with teams. Preferred: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. Experience working within regulated industries and compliance frameworks.
