Dermachem is hiring a skilled Database Engineer to join our IT team in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and optimizing our database systems to ensure high performance, data integrity, and security. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain robust database structures supporting multiple applications. Optimize database performance through tuning and continuous monitoring. Develop and manage ETL processes for efficient data migration and integration. Perform regular data backups, recovery, and implement security protocols to safeguard data. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to meet diverse project needs. Create logical and physical data models to improve database design and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data warehousing and enhance data accessibility. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience with SQL, database design, data modeling, and performance tuning. Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures and ETL processes. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in cloud databases and scripting languages.
