What You Will Be Doing

ACME DISTRIBUTION CENTERin Denver, PA, is a division of Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers with 2,300+ stores. The Albertsons Companies family of brands includes some of the most prominent brands in food retailing, with a growing base of loyal shoppers.

We are searching for aDiesel Mechanicto join our skilled team at theACME Lancaster Distribution Centerlocated in Denver, PA.Positions offer a competitive, comprehensive benefit package, annual tool & boot allowance. $3,000 retention bonus possible!

For a new hire, the first 2 weeks would be Monday-Friday working 06:00 to 14:30.

After 2 weeks -4-day 10-hour schedule. The days would be Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday working 06:00-16:30, 14:00-00:30, or 21:00-07:30.

Main Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks - Combo.Troubleshoot and repair equipment issuesAnswer driver's telephone request for assistance with equipment failure while out on the roadMaintain and repair all equipment to include engine, starting and charging, electrical, body, wheels, brakes, suspension, and interior.

What we are searching for

Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair. May require valid DOT physical card and a CDL driver's license.May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipmentAbility to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.ASE CertificationsPA State Inspection License a plus.608 & 609 Refrigeration CertificationCDL A plus.
