Path of Purpose is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Pasadena, CA . This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.5 to $19.5 per hour and a supportive environment where your work directly impacts the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities Provide direct assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and any behavioral or health changes. Implement individualized support plans to enhance client well-being and independence. Encourage client participation in recreational and community activities. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure collaborative support. Use behavior support strategies to promote positive behaviors and communication. Assist with crisis intervention to maintain client safety and stability. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing compassion and patience. Preferred experience in mobility assistance. Proficient in client documentation practices. Knowledge of behavior support techniques is a plus. Relevant certifications in developmental disabilities or related fields are advantageous. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
