Join us to drive cutting-edge projects in power generation and electrical systems, working on new unit Gas and Steam turbine generators. Key Responsibilities Provide expert technical support during application, design, and installation phases to ensure seamless contract negotiation and implementation. Coordinate engineering efforts with sourcing, services, gas/steam/gen requisition engineering, global engineering teams, and equipment suppliers to optimize project outcomes. Lead the development and application of electrical Material Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment for new Gas or Steam turbine generator units, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Partner with requisition management to streamline the requisition cycle, reducing lead times from order definition through commercial operation. Commit to meeting on-time performance targets for internal engineering deliverables and customer expectations, maintaining high-quality standards. Drive generator and electrical equipment discussions in domestic and global customer meetings, aligning technical goals with business objectives. Champion cost-saving initiatives by providing strong technical support and innovative solutions to reduce project expenses. Manage risk strategies and disposition of hardware factory or installation issues, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines. Interpret and implement contract requirements and design practices, staying current with global codes, standards, tools, and processes. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and effective communication across cross-functional teams. What We're Looking For Required: 10-15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power generation or heavy industrial sectors. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech). Proven leadership in managing complex engineering projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong knowledge of electrical MSD equipment, turbine generators, and requisition processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle risk management effectively. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration. Preferred: Experience with global engineering standards and codes relevant to turbine generator equipment. Familiarity with contract negotiation and implementation in engineering projects. Demonstrated success in driving cost-saving projects and process improvements.
