OverviewDesign antenna and waveguide-based RF structures with extensive experience in HFSS, and a strong background in simulation-to-measurement correlation at microwave or millimeter-wave frequencies.
ResponsibilitiesPerform full-wave electromagnetic simulations for RF channels consisting of antennas, waveguides, transitions, and passive RF structuresDesign, optimize, and validate high-frequency RF components and propagation pathsDevelop accurate EM models and conduct parametric studies using HFSSCorrelate simulation results with laboratory measurements including S-parameters, insertion loss, and channel performanceDebug discrepancies between simulation and measurement and improve modeling accuracyCollaborate with RF, antenna, mechanical, and system engineers to support product development
QualificationsPh.D. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or M.S. with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.Expert-level proficiency with Ansys HFSSStrong understanding of electromagnetics, wave propagation, antennas, and waveguide structuresHands-on experience with simulation-to-measurement correlation at high frequenciesExperience with microwave and/or millimeter-wave systemsFamiliarity with RF measurement equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chamber testingHiring for multiple levels!
