Key Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics to accurately identify vehicle issues. Execute repairs on multiple makes and models, handling both routine maintenance and complex mechanical problems. Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and efficient automotive services. Maintain precise records of all repairs and parts used. Communicate clearly with customers, providing explanations and recommendations for vehicle maintenance and repairs. Engage in ongoing training to stay current with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to optimize workflow and enhance customer satisfaction. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 7 years of proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred. Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills with excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficient knowledge of automotive systems and repair methods. Automotive certifications such as ASE or equivalent are highly desirable. Experience with automotive repair software and diagnostic tools. Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
