Key Responsibilities Install fiber optic and structured cabling systems in compliance with industry standards and local codes to ensure optimal network performance. Terminate cables accurately and test connections using OTDR and other diagnostic tools to verify signal integrity. Perform fiber splicing with precision to maintain communication line reliability and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and maintain existing cabling infrastructure to quickly resolve issues and support uninterrupted client operations. Document all installation and maintenance activities thoroughly for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate closely with project managers and fellow technicians to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Assist in designing network layouts tailored to client specifications and participate in site surveys to assess cabling requirements.
