Key Responsibilities Install fiber optic and structured cabling systems for commercial and enterprise clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Terminate and splice fiber optic cables with precision to maintain optimal signal integrity. Test fiber optic and copper cabling using OTDR and certification equipment to guarantee network performance. Build and organize racks, patch panels, and network closets to support efficient infrastructure management. Troubleshoot low-voltage network issues, accurately label cables, and document all work for client records. Maintain cabling infrastructure by performing routine inspections and repairs to prevent downtime. Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks. Proficiency with low-voltage tools and testing equipment such as OTDR and certification testers. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site project work. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in labeling and documentation. Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship may be discussed).
