Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records using advanced financial information systems. Analyze large datasets and financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings. Ensure compliance with FHWA policies & procedures and adherence to Title 200 and GAAP standards. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes. Train staff on financial systems and reporting best practices, enhancing team capabilities. Utilize FDOT Financial Management (FM) and FLAIR (Florida Accounting System) for financial tracking and reporting. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements based on financial data insights. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within government or IT sectors. Proven expertise working with financial information systems and analyzing complex datasets. Strong knowledge of FHWA policies & procedures, Title 200, and GAAP accounting principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and mentor colleagues. Preferred: Experience with FDOT Financial Management (FM) system. Familiarity with FLAIR (Florida Accounting System). Prior experience as a trainer or financial systems super-user.
