Financial Analyst

Title: Financial Reporting Analyst Location: NYC NYOn-site/Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid ( 4 Days Onsite and 1 Day Remote))Duration: 6 Months + Likely Extensions
Key Responsibilities• Maintain, support and improve the reporting used to communicate spend insights to stakeholders• Ensure accuracy and clarity of financial reporting
Required ExperienceStrong understanding of financial operations, including (in order of importance):o Financial reporting and analysiso Budgeting/forecastingo Accounting - ability to manage/book accruals/reversals/pre-paids/CapEx etco Cost allocationo IT Department Operations/Financialso Contract managemento Procurement processes
Required Skills-• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data modeling, complex formulas, pivoting, automation, scenario analysis) (must have)• Power BI dashboards - building and maintaining (must have)• PeopleSoft financials or similar ERP systems - sourcing/mining data and researching accounting and procurement transactions (must have)• ServiceNow - sourcing/mining data and researching transactions (ITFM, CMDB, APM etc) (must have)• Comfortable working with large, complex financial datasets and evolving frameworks• Prior experience working with or supporting organizations within the Client is a plus
