ABOUT US: Central Plaza offers a 24-hour residential treatment program designed to maximize independence and support reintegration into the community. Our recovery-oriented services utilize evidence-based practices to promote and foster mental health and wellness. We provide a structured and stabilizing environment, giving consumers the opportunity to design a personalized recovery plan and practice skills necessary for maximizing independence through meaningful activities. Each consumer is encouraged to create individualized goals highlighting their personal interests and strengths. Job Description We are seeking a competent and organized Front Desk Associate to manage and monitor the flow of tenants, visitors, and staff at the building entrance. Responsibilities include overseeing the security system, professionally answering phones, and facilitating communication between departments regarding tenant and building needs as well as other operational requirements. As the first point of contact and central hub of Central Plaza, professionalism and the ability to handle demands respectfully and efficiently are essential. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor circulation of tenants, visitors, and staff at building entrance Manage security systems and tenant emergency call light system Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately Promote interdepartmental communication regarding tenant and building needs Handle problems, situations, or emergencies politely and professionally Requirements Empathy, patience, and strong connection with the tenant population Appreciation for the heritage, values, and wisdom of tenants Effective communication skills Ability to multitask and maintain strong organization in a stimulating environment Professionalism in handling emergencies and operational challenges Benefits Employer-covered health care Life insurance Pension and retirement plans Mandatory paid time-off Mental health assistance Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000 per year
