Infarsight is seeking a hands-on, self-driven Industrial IoT/OT Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration at a client facility in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The role bridges operational technology (OT) and enterprise IT, serving as the primary technical lead during Phase-1 execution.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot industrial protocol networks, including Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet/IP, RS-485, and Industrial Ethernet, across multi-vendor equipment such as HVAC/chillers, generator controllers, and compressor controls.
• Act as the single technical lead in customer environments and resolve complex field challenges by coordinating with OEM engineers, IT admins, and plant maintenance leads.
• Configure static IPs, VLANs, DNS/NTP, and secure remote access (VPN/MFA) in line with customer IT policies.
• Implement and maintain secure industrial connectivity aligned with OT cybersecurity protocols, including segmentation, zero-trust access, and secure data transmission.
• Translate technical realities into clear, actionable updates for plant technicians, IT teams, and executive leadership.
• Mentor and train client maintenance staff and IT generalists.
