Our flagship platforms—Task Sight, Trip Sight, and Fleet Sight—streamline complex workflows across HR, Finance, and Supply Chain, transforming operational data into actionable, real-time intelligence.Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on, self-driven Industrial IoT/OT Field Engineer to lead on-site deployment and integration at our client facility in Santiago, Dominican Republic.In this role, you will bridge the gap between operational technology (OT) and enterprise IT, serving as the primary technical lead during Phase-1 execution. You will oversee PLC/controller commissioning, network coordination, and OT cybersecurity enforcement, while empowering local teams through training and knowledge transfer.Key ResponsibilitiesField Integration & Commissioning Commission and troubleshoot industrial protocol networks (Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet/IP, RS-485, Industrial Ethernet) across multi-vendor equipment such as HVAC/chillers, generator controllers, and compressor controls.On-Site Technical Ownership Act as the single technical lead in customer environments. Resolve complex field challenges independently by coordinating with OEM engineers, IT admins, and plant maintenance leads.IT/OT Network Coordination Configure static IPs, VLANs, DNS/NTP, and secure remote access (VPN/MFA) in line with customer IT policies.OT Cybersecurity Implement and maintain secure industrial connectivity solutions aligned with strict OT cybersecurity protocols, including segmentation, zero-trust access, and secure data transmission.Stakeholder Communication Translate technical realities into clear, actionable updates for plant technicians, IT teams, and executive leadership.Enablement & Training Mentor and train client maintenance staff and IT generalists to build long-term operational self-sufficiency.Required QualificationsIndustrial IoT/OT Expertise: Hands-on experience with industrial communications (Modbus, BACnet, RS-485, Ethernet) and multi-OEM controller integration.Networking & Security Literacy: Strong knowledge of IT/OT network architectures (VLANs, firewalls, routing) and OT security practices (VPNs, segmentation).Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Proven ability to resolve ambiguous technical issues independently in live environments.Language Skills:Fluent in Spanish (daily collaboration with local teams).Professional working proficiency in English (reporting to Infarsight and partner leadership).Location & Mobility: Based in or willing to relocate to Santiago, Dominican Republic. Full availability for daily on-site presence at Arena during Phase-1, with flexibility to travel to additional La Aurora Group facilities.Nice-to-HaveExperience conducting structured training sessions, technical workshops, or mentorship for plant technicians and IT staff.
