Journalist

Caters Media Group is looking for an experienced Journalist based in Argentina to join our international editorial team. We specialise in finding and telling real stories about real people , from extraordinary experiences and inspiring individuals to unusual lifestyles, relationships, families, transformations and incredible moments. This is not a political news role. A key part of this role is story sourcing. You won’t simply be given stories to write – you’ll be expected to actively find compelling people, stories and footage across social media and other online sources. Once you identify a story, you’ll need to track down and contact the person who owns the footage or story, build a relationship with them and convince them to work with Caters and sign an agreement allowing us to represent their content. You’ll be targeting content primarily for the US market, so you’ll need a strong instinct for the human-interest stories that engage American audiences. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role, requiring you to source and secure multiple quality stories every day.
