Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

RemitBee™ is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to produce graphics, ads and short videos for marketing, working from briefs by the Senior Designer across social, paid ads, branding, print and motion.

The audience includes people across Canada sending money home, many of them newcomers building a life in a new country and sending to family. Design needs to work across languages, formats and cultural contexts.

This is a high-volume production role focused more on executing briefs than writing them. Much of the work involves resizing, adapting and shipping. It offers the opportunity to learn commercial design with a Senior Designer.

Responsibilities

• Produce social, ad and campaign graphics from briefs, adapting them into the sizes, formats and languages required by each channel.
• Edit short-form video and motion for social channels and ads using Premiere, CapCut, After Effects or other tools that get the work shipped.
• Explore AI tools for the creative team, test them on real work, adopt useful tools and share findings. Tools mentioned include Midjourney, Firefly and Runway.
• Create print-ready materials such as flyers, banners and event collateral.
• Apply the RemitBee brand and help it evolve.
