Light Duty Diesel Technician Job in Prescott, AZ

Southwest Truck and RV is hiring a skilled Light Duty Diesel Technician with over 5 years of experience to join our team in Prescott, Arizona. Compensation: $28 to $40 per hour plus commission, depending on experience. Annual salary potential up to $85,000. $1,500 signing bonus included. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no weekends. Required Skills & Experience: Proficient in diagnostics and repairs on Light Duty Diesel vehicles including Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins engines. Experience with injector replacement, turbochargers, clutch replacement, brakes, aftertreatment systems, HVAC, hydraulic brakes, fuel systems, steering and suspension, electrical systems, and overall vehicle systems. Must have excellent time management, dependability, and own necessary tools. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot light-duty diesel engine problems using diagnostic tools. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake servicing. Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues and repair options. Maintain accurate service records and parts documentation. Work collaboratively with team members to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations. Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.
