Male Night Shift Receptionist

Casalabela Guesthouse is looking for a professional, reliable and well-presented male receptionist to join their team and work night shifts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Welcome and check in guests in a friendly and professional manner - Handle guest check-outs and payments - Answer telephone calls, WhatsApp messages and guests queries - Manage reservations and update the booking system - Handle guest requests and resolve basic complaints quickly - Assist guests with information about the guesthouse and surroundings area - Maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, payments and guest information - Prepare handover information for the morning shift - Communicate any maintenance or guest-related issues to management - Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception area - Provide excellent customer service - Throughout the night shift maintain accurate records of guest visits and duties are completed accurately REQUIREMENTS - Male applicant - Previous experience in hotel, guesthouse or hospitality experience preferred - Grade 12/ Matric certificate - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Computer literate - Able to use email, WhatsApp and basic Microsoft Office - Good telephone etiquette - Professional appearance and attitude - Honest, trustworthy and reliable - Able to work independently with minimal supervision - Comfortable working night shifts - Good team and work ethic - Good problem-solving and customer-service skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure - When dealing with guests - Potentially some late-night working - Must adhere to a strict dress code IMPORTANT NOTES (from flyer) - Must be able to work night shifts - There is a mention: “You MUST adhere to a strict dress code” and “All duties are completed accurately” HOW TO APPLY (verbatim website/contact lines from image) - Subject: Night Shift Receptionist Application ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.
