MRI Technologist Contract Job in Rochester, NY

Join VSH Consulting as an MRI Technologist in Rochester, New York. This contract position offers a competitive pay of $3,500 per week and requires a skilled professional dedicated to patient safety and diagnostic imaging excellence. Key Responsibilities Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, strictly adhering to patient safety policies. Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging results. Prepare patients and explain MRI procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation. Insert IVs when necessary for contrast-enhanced imaging. Position patients , including assisting limited-mobility patients with safe handling techniques. Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and send completed studies to PACS promptly. Ensure a clean and safe scanning environment at all times. Required and Preferred Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification. New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to start date). Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist. Experience in Level I trauma settings preferred. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
