Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Operate and maintain switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, cables, and automatic transfer switches (ATS) with precision. Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing strictly following NETA standards to meet industry compliance and quality benchmarks. Utilize specialized test equipment such as Doble, PowerDB, and VLF/Hipot testers to diagnose and verify system integrity. Prepare detailed technical reports and accurate job documentation to support client records and project tracking. Collaborate directly with clients to provide expert insights and assist in project estimates, enhancing customer satisfaction and project success. Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards aligned with Vertiv practices, ensuring a safe work environment. Travel as required (25% or more) to various client sites, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to project needs. What We're Looking For Required: Strong knowledge of medium and high-voltage power systems, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance in field service environments. Ability to work safely in demanding environments and pass pre-employment screenings. Willingness to travel regularly (25%+) and maintain a flexible schedule to meet client demands. Preferred: NETA Level II certification or higher, demonstrating advanced technical expertise and industry recognition. Familiarity with specialized testing equipment such as Doble and PowerDB.
