Electrical Field Service Technician (Power Systems) What You’ll Do Perform hands-on testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems Work with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, cables, and ATS Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing per NETA standards Use specialized test equipment such as Doble, PowerDB, and VLF/Hipot testers Prepare clear technical reports and detailed job documentation Collaborate directly with clients and assist with project estimates as needed Adhere to strict safety and quality standards aligned with Vertiv practices What We’re Looking For NETA Level II (or higher) certification preferred Strong knowledge of medium and high-voltage power systems and NEC codes Experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance Willingness to travel 25% or more, flexible scheduling, and fieldwork readiness Ability to work safely in demanding environments and pass required screenings
