About the role
Karpowership is seeking an experienced Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Manager to support its power generation project in Costa Rica. The role supports and manages the project's preventive Occupational Health & Safety framework and provides the required on-site OHS presence.
The role ensures compliance with applicable Costa Rican legislation, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Occupational Health & Safety activities for the project.
- Implement, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve the preventive OHS management program.
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with client OHS representatives and ensure timely closure of identified findings.
- Provide OHS guidance and support to contractors and subcontractors working on site.
