Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust Oracle database applications that meet business needs and scalability requirements. Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to improve system performance and reliability. Perform database tuning and indexing to enhance application responsiveness and reduce downtime. Collaborate closely with application developers and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for database solutions. Ensure data integrity, security, and implement backup and recovery processes aligned with company policies. Support production environments by troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues promptly to minimize business impact. Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance. What We're Looking For Required: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c . Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming with a solid understanding of database objects and scripting. Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports or Oracle APEX is preferred. Knowledge of database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques. Understanding of data modeling principles and relational database design. Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 to 8 years of relevant Oracle development experience. Preferred: Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion applications. Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
