Outsourcing Manager

About the role

Wowjobs.lk is seeking an outsourcing manager to join its project team. The role is with ZTE Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, which has operated in Sri Lanka for more than 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage the national outsourcing strategy and ensure it is followed in projects.
• Identify local contractors and manage their prequalification.
• Participate in outsourcing certification, procurement and project execution.
• Organize subcontractor performance evaluations and resource management.
• Coordinate with projects, finance and other related business departments.
• Communicate daily with subcontractors, solve problems and maintain relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in telecommunication, business management or an equivalent field from a recognized university.
• More than 3 years of outsourcing experience.
• Honesty, self-discipline and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Teamwork, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proactive interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with project management.
• Innovative, active, able to learn independently and quick to understand and master new knowledge.
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to balance priorities and work well under schedule pressures.
• Strong leadership skills, good written and verbal communication, and attention to detail and technicalities.
• Excellent organizational and technical skills, with good interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Key facts
