Part Time Math Middle School Teacher - Summer Boot Camp in Aurora, CO

Join CABPES as a Part Time Math Middle School Teacher for a 5-week summer boot camp in Aurora, CO. Share your passion for mathematics and help middle school students excel this summer. Key Responsibilities Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Facilitate interactive classroom activities to boost student participation and understanding. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that fosters student confidence and growth. Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities. Required and Preferred Qualifications Relevant teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with middle school students. Strong knowledge of math concepts and effective teaching methodologies. Familiarity with educational technology tools to enhance learning. A degree in Education is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Schedule & Compensation: Work Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at our central Aurora location. Teaching hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The program runs for 5 weeks starting June 15th. Up to 1 hour of paid daily planning time is included. Pay rate is $30 per hour. No public school teaching credential required, but teaching or tutoring experience is preferred. Candidates must pass a background check to work with children.
