Key Responsibilities Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment for all employees. Collaborate effectively with team members to consistently meet or exceed production targets, contributing to operational efficiency improvements. Participate actively in daily safety briefings, promoting health and safety awareness across all shifts. Assist in the operation and routine maintenance of mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Support training initiatives by sharing best practices in safety and teamwork with new hires, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Engage proactively with supervisors and team leads to promptly resolve operational challenges or safety concerns. Monitor and report production metrics accurately to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For Required: Matric Certificate or equivalent high school diploma. Strong knowledge and commitment to safety practices in industrial environments. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative setting. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adapt to rotating shift schedules. Preferred: Previous experience in mining or industrial operations is an advantage but not mandatory. Familiarity with mining equipment and processes to accelerate onboarding and productivity.
