Programador Estadístico

We are seeking a Statistical Programmer to join our Global Data Analytics team under Global Clinical and Medical Affairs. Reporting to the Manager, Programming and Infrastructure, the Statistical Programmer will work closely with Biostatisticians and assist in the development and implementation of statistical analysis plans, contribute to the creation of tables, listings, and figures, and support the validation of analysis datasets for our clinical studies. The successful candidate will have a foundational understanding of statistical programming and be prepared to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:-(20%) Assist in the development and implementation of statistical analysis plans-(20%) Support the creation of tables, listings, and figures-(20%) Assist in the validation of analysis datasets-(20%) Collaborate with biostatisticians and other team members to ensure statistical analyses are precise and dependable-(10%) Participate in the review of programming work to ensure quality-(10%) Aid in the upkeep of departmental programming standards and procedures
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, software engineering)
Experience:-1-3 years of experience as a statistical programmer, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry-Solid programming skills in SAS, and SQL-Familiarity with CDISC standards and experience with clinical trial datasets-Exposure to electronic data capture (EDC) systems-Familiarity with version control such as Git-Awareness of the regulatory environment (e.g., FDA)-Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:-Basic understanding of R or Python.-Familiarity with basic statistical theory-Experience or interest in cloud data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Databricks is highly desired-Exposure to or interest in learning about automation and software deployment-Awareness of data processing techniques, including data cleaning and aggregation-Curiosity about data architecture, including data lake and data warehouse concepts
