We're expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to support our project management efforts on-site. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 per year, comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan. As a Project Engineer at Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring project success by managing documentation, coordinating logistics, and supporting budgeting and scheduling activities. You will collaborate closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment that values clear communication and adaptability. Key Responsibilities Manage jobsite documentation including RFIs, change orders, ASIs, QA/QC reports, and submittals to ensure project compliance and accuracy. Coordinate jobsite logistics such as office supplies, badging, and orientation paperwork to maintain smooth daily operations. Oversee deliveries of equipment and materials, ensuring timely receipt and proper handling to avoid project delays. Assemble detailed estimates and budgets, contributing to cost control and financial planning. Manage subcontractors and vendors by tracking performance, contracts, and purchase orders to maintain quality and schedule adherence. Attend project meetings to provide updates, address issues, and collaborate on solutions that drive project milestones forward. Update project schedules regularly to reflect progress and forecast upcoming activities, supporting effective project tracking. Track craft productivity metrics to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement, supporting overall project success. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Basic understanding of HVAC systems and ability to read project specifications and technical drawings. Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure and tight deadlines. Willingness to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment. Diplomatic and tactful in working with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Preferred: Previous experience in construction project engineering or related fields. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards.
