Key Responsibilities Analyze software requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases that ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment with business goals. Perform both manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools like Selenium and Cypress to identify defects early in the development cycle. Identify, document, and track bugs efficiently using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with development and business teams for timely resolution. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand features and deliver high-quality software releases. Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software functionality and stability before deployment. Ensure product quality meets or exceeds company standards by rigorously testing and verifying software performance and usability. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes by recommending best practices and automation strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and testing methodologies to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency. What We're Looking For Required: Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles. Proficiency in manual testing concepts and hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress. Experience with API testing using Postman and strong SQL skills for database validation. Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA to manage and report bugs effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred: Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python to support automation scripting. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to integrate testing into deployment pipelines. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced iterative environments. Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and career development in quality assurance.
