TekBricks is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer in Waxhaw, North Carolina to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This full-time role requires expertise in manual testing of web and mobile applications, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams to deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Perform manual testing on web and mobile platforms Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing effectively Identify, log, and track defects using defect-tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues promptly Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups Validate fixes and ensure all issues are resolved before product release Maintain high standards of software quality and meet client expectations Required Skills Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and best practices Experience with SDLC & STLC methodologies Hands-on experience in test case creation and execution Understanding of the defect life cycle and defect management Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, ALM Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site) Salary: $5,000 per month
