We are currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT and interventional radiology (IR) imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic accuracy. Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE and Siemens systems to support angiography, thrombectomy, and angioplasty procedures. Collaborate independently with physicians in IR procedure rooms, providing expert technical support during complex interventions such as TIPS and stroke thrombectomy. Manage on-call duties including trauma cases, weekend coverage, and emergency imaging with professionalism and prompt response. Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards, including ARRT and Massachusetts Radiology licensing requirements. Document patient data accurately and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Support orientation and training sessions for new staff, contributing to continuous departmental improvement and knowledge sharing. Ensure equipment readiness and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow efficiency. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology (IR) with demonstrated ability to work independently. Current ARRT certification in CT and IR, plus valid Massachusetts Radiology license. Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology. Proficient knowledge of GE and Siemens imaging systems. Experience with thrombectomy devices, angioplasty, TIPS, and trauma imaging procedures. Ability to cover weekend shifts, day shifts, and on-call rotations reliably. BLS certification required. Preferred: Prior experience working in trauma and emergency radiology settings. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
