Regional Human Resource Director for South America

About the role

Edify.org is a non-profit organization registered in the U.S. since 2009, with operations in 16 countries. It works to improve and expand sustainable Christ-centered education globally, serving low-fee independent Christ-centered schools through access to capital, training, and education technology.

The Regional Human Resource Director will work with the Edify Country Leadership team and the core HR organization to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate HR policies and activities. The role focuses on the development and care of Edify staff, consistent with Edify values and local legal requirements.

This is a full-time position based in any of Edify’s South American countries, currently Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru, with plans to expand into Brazil and Columbia. The role reports to the Regional Vice President of South America, with a matrix relationship to the Vice President of HR in the United States. The position includes regional travel, and all staff are required to attend an annual all-staff meeting, alternating between a US-based and an international location.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate HR policies and activities in collaboration with Edify’s core HR organization.
• Support the development and care of Edify staff in line with Edify values and local legal requirements.
