Care Center RN – MMM📍 Location: Aibonito, Puerto Rico 00705📅 Duration: 11-Month Contract🕐 Schedule: Flexible 8- or 12-hour shifts; weekends and holidays may be requiredWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Care Center/Multispecialty Clinic environment in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. This is a hands-on, patient-facing clinical role focused on providing safe, evidence-based care, supporting physicians, performing patient assessments and procedures, and responding to urgent and emergency situations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform patient intake, initial assessments, triage, and prioritization of care.Obtain patient histories, vital signs, symptoms, medications, and chief complaints.Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, procedures, and care plans.Administer medications, vaccinations, IV/IM treatments, and injections as ordered.Perform EKGs, venipuncture, glucose testing, urine testing, strep screens, spirometry, and other clinical procedures.Provide wound care and assist with treatment of injuries, burns, fractures, hemorrhages, and other urgent conditions.Monitor patient vital signs and neurological status.Identify gaps in care and educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment and follow-up.Coordinate referrals, preventive care, transfers, and multidisciplinary treatment plans.Accurately document assessments, interventions, treatments, patient responses, and critical events.Follow infection control, isolation, patient safety, and emergency equipment protocols.Participate in shift handoffs and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Provide care and support to both adult and pediatric patients.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).3+ years of clinical nursing experience.Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience required.Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Puerto Rico.Registration with the Colegio de Profesionales de Enfermería de Puerto Rico.Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.EKG certification.Current Puerto Rico Health Certificate.PR Law 300 Certificate, as applicable to the patient-facing clinical setting.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and 8- or 12-hour shifts.Preferred QualificationsACLS certification.PALS certification.Active membership in a professional nursing association.Current vaccination records.Previous experience in multispecialty clinics, urgent care, or emergency care.
