We are partnering with a global manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Director of Operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for leading overall site operations and manufacturing performance, driving operational excellence, productivity, quality, safety, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization.The ideal candidate is a proven operations leader with a strong background in regulated manufacturing environments, production operations, engineering and maintenance, operational excellence, people leadership, and cross-functional execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership across Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and site operations, ensuring alignment with business and performance objectives.Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve targets related to safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, and delivery.Develop and execute operational strategies focused on improving capacity, efficiency, reliability, and overall site performance.Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), production throughput, yield, downtime, labor efficiency, and cost performance.Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, leveraging Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other structured improvement methodologies.Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams on equipment reliability, capital projects, facility improvements, automation, and capacity expansion initiatives.Ensure manufacturing and operational activities comply with applicable safety, quality, cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.Develop and manage operating budgets, headcount, resources, and capital priorities to support business objectives.Collaborate with site and executive leadership on business strategy, production planning, capacity requirements, operational priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Finance, Human Resources, and Continuous Improvement teams.Lead, coach, and develop operations leaders, managers, supervisors, and manufacturing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and performance gaps and implement sustainable solutions that improve manufacturing performance.Drive effective change management associated with new processes, technologies, equipment, products, and operational initiatives.Promote a strong culture focused on safety, quality, customer service, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and results.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.Minimum 7 years of progressive operations leadership experience within manufacturing or production environments.Strong experience leading manufacturing operations, production teams, and cross-functional site organizations.Demonstrated experience improving OEE, productivity, capacity, quality, cost, and operational performance.Experience managing operating budgets, capital investments, headcount, and organizational resources.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, maintenance, engineering, facilities, and supply chain operations.Proven experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.Strong project management, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing operational teams and lead through influence across multiple functions.Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations, quality systems, EHS, and compliance requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Operations leader seeking to make a significant impact within a high-performing manufacturing organization, with responsibility for driving manufacturing performance, operational excellence, team development, safety, quality, productivity, and long-term site success.
