Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach

About the role

Rhythmicacademyla is growing its academy and seeks a coach to help inspire confident, strong and graceful athletes.

Responsibilities

• Coach strength and conditioning, flexibility and stretching, balance and coordination, and basic acrobatics.
• Coach jumps, leaps and turns; ballet and dance fundamentals; musicality and movement; and rhythmic gymnastics apparatus skills.
• Support routine development and choreography, competition and performance preparation, discipline and confidence.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a strong athletic or dance background and previous competitive or professional experience in competitive rhythmic gymnastics, competitive artistic gymnastics, or professional ballet or dance.
• Previous rhythmic gymnastics coaching experience is preferred, but is not required for candidates with a strong gymnastics or professional ballet background. Training can be provided to qualified applicants interested in transitioning into rhythmic gymnastics coaching.
• Candidates should be positive and energetic, dependable and professional, and comfortable working with children ages 3 to 12.
• Candidates should be able to maintain a structured and disciplined class environment, be passionate about developing young athletes, be patient while maintaining high training standards, and be interested in long-term professional growth within the academy.
