Join SK HR Consultants as a Sales Executive - Employee Benefits in Chicago, Illinois! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to drive new business development and manage client relationships in the employee benefits sector. Key Responsibilities: 🔹 New Business Development Actively prospect through referrals, professional networks, events, and industry partnerships Maintain a robust sales pipeline of at least 3x the annual sales target Utilize CRM systems to efficiently manage leads and client activity Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across other Gibson service lines 🔹 Client Strategy & Relationship Management Lead benefit and risk strategy development for new and existing accounts Recommend customized program structures and coverage strategies tailored to client needs Manage renewals, carrier proposals, and service timelines in collaboration with internal teams Ensure compliance with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards 🔹 Consulting & Risk Management Analyze risk, claims data, and benefit design trends to advise clients effectively Educate clients on evolving insurance and employee benefits solutions Build and maintain high-retention client relationships through proactive advisory services Qualifications: ✅ Required: Minimum 5 years experience in insurance sales or professional services consulting Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM tools ✅ Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field CEBS designation highly desirable Experience working with employee benefits for mid-to-large groups Background in independently owned insurance agencies is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile: Self-motivated and goal-driven professional Confident presenter and skilled relationship builder Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Committed to delivering exceptional client service and results Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States (On-site, no remote) Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive yearly salary Apply now to join SK HR Consultants and advance your career in employee benefits sales!
