Role Description The Internship Scrum role is an on-site position based in Guatemala City. The intern will support Scrum activities for project teams, including helping plan and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Responsibilities include maintaining basic Scrum documentation, assisting with tracking tasks and progress, and helping remove simple impediments by coordinating with team members and stakeholders. The intern will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to promote agile practices and continuous improvement. This internship offers practical experience in agile project coordination, exposure to optimization projects, and mentorship from experienced professionals.
QualificationsFoundational understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, with interest in applying them in real projects.Basic skills in communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration to support cross-functional project activities.Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain simple project artifacts and documentation.Analytical mindset, with willingness to learn how data and quantitative methods are used in business optimization.Currently studying or recently graduated in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools; familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.Professional level Spanish; English proficiency is an advantage for regional and international collaboration.Curiosity, initiative, and openness to feedback in a learning-focused internship environment.
