Senior Accountant

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple business entities and play a key role in the month-end and year-end close process. This full-time position requires working three days a week in the office in Bloomington, MN.

what you will do

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
• Prepare daily and weekly borrowing base, collateral, and inventory reports
• Perform multi-entity general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process accounts payable, vendor invoices, payments, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and cash application
• Lead the annual 1099 process, including W-9 verification and filing
• Support external audits and prepare requested schedules and documentation
• Review account coding and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

what we are looking for

• Three or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA strongly preferred
