In Happy Mondays, we are partnering with one of Guatemala's most prestigious fast-casual dining and retail chains to find their next Strategic Sourcing Lead. In this hands-on leadership role, you will drive procurement strategies, manage international supply chains, and ensure the continuous flow of high-quality perishables that keep the business thriving.
Key Responsibilities:-Manage end-to-end local and international procurement processes, specializing in perishables, cold chain, and high-rotation FMCG categories.-Leverage ERP systems and data dashboards to analyze demand, optimize inventory levels, and make cost-effective decisions.-Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers, eventually representing the company at international trade shows.-Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure supply continuity and profitability.
Skills and experience:-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.-5 to 8 years of proven experience in strategic sourcing within Retail, Food Service, or FMCG industries (perishables experience is a must).-Full professional proficiency in English (essential for international negotiations and travel).-Strong command of robust ERPs (Dynamics 365, SAP) and analytical tools (Power BI, Advanced Excel).-A hands-on approach, strong negotiation tactics, and the agility to thrive in a high-volume environment.
