Title: Software Engineer (C++ Systems) Location: San Francisco, CA, United States (Onsite) - Relocation packages available. Industry: AI Infrastructure / GPU Virtualization About the Role Join SK HR Consultants as a Software Engineer specializing in C++ systems to develop and optimize the core GPU virtualization stack. This position is perfect for engineers passionate about microsecond-level performance tuning in complex C++ environments and eager to contribute to impactful low-level GPU software. Key Responsibilities Optimize performance of the C++ virtualization library for GPU systems. Conduct research on oversubscription, checkpointing, and distributed GPU clusters. Support new GPU architectures with deep system-level understanding. Perform systems-level debugging in production environments. Diagnose and resolve performance issues in machine learning workloads. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2+ years of experience in C++ systems engineering. Proven experience working on low-level systems in production environments. Knowledge of compilers, networking protocols, or kernel development. Elite expertise in C++ (Rust experience acceptable but role requires C++ work). Experience optimizing NIC and C++ performance. Strong ability to trace and resolve performance issues across software stacks. Education Degree from a top Computer Science program with a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Graduated from a top 5 IIT or a top 20 U.S. college/university. Work Conditions Onsite work in San Francisco, CA. Typical workweek: 60-65 hours, including some weekends.
