Software Engineer in Test

Job Description5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer/SDET.Strong experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium and Functionize.Strong API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.Hands-on experience with Functionize is mandatory.Strong experience with Java, Selenium, and TestNG.Strong understanding of manual testing techniques and QA strategies.Experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, test plans, and procedures.Ability to work across both functional and automation testing.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, Sprints, and Continuous Integration.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong collaboration skills for working with distributed/remote teams.Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.E-commerce domain experience is mandatory.
Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement test automation infrastructure and establish effective engineering practices.Build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for reliable, scalable, and high-quality products.Design and implement test infrastructure supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.Research and evaluate new testing technologies, tools, and concepts, including Proof of Concepts (POCs).Design test strategies for complex and highly integrated software systems.Collaborate with SDETs and QA teams to develop end-to-end automation solutions.Design and build scalable, maintainable, and flexible automation frameworks.Investigate root causes of issues and support robust technical solutions.Collaborate with product, project, and development teams to identify and resolve technical, business, and process-related issues.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality assurance.
